Meet our product support team

Our product support team travels the country talking to drillers, measuring and benchmarking drilling performance and developing solutions to improve productivity.

They are there to work with you to optimise a drilling solution at site level. Sometimes off-the-shelf designs don’t cut it in certain ground conditions. That’s when you’ll be glad you’ve chosen DTA-Robit®.

Our product support team will rigorously evaluate your operation, mine plans and geotechnics and then work with a DTA-Robit® engineer to customise a solution specifically for your project. Having the largest dedicated machine facility in the southern hemisphere means we can create a prototype in Australia and have it on site quickly for testing with a full support team.

For us, it is all about productivity gains and being able to measure every aspect to ensure you can keep drilling longer and utilise capital equipment better.

Training your people to drill smarter

We don’t just design, make and supply outstanding drilling products, we also teach people how to use and maintain them smarter. We can come to your site and run training workshops for drillers, blast supervisors and maintenance people to help extend product and consumable life.

We’ll show you how to get more life from consumables, talk about CPM and provide practical solutions and advice. We know that rigs are only making money while they are drilling, so if we can help you reduce the number of bit changes then the rigs will be working more and making more.

Even simple things such as sharpening a bit or re-chasing a thread can dramatically extend the life of your drilling consumables.
